Westosha Central Going to State

Defense Suffocates Oregon in 79-48 Victory

It was a tight game early on. Oregon hit a 3-pointer to cut the Falcon lead to 21-20. That prompted Falcon head coach, James Hyllberg, to switch from his typical 1-3-1 defense to a zone scheme. Then Central pulled away in hurry, going on a 16-0 run to end the first half. They were started stealing the ball like they were taking candy from a baby.

The Falcons won the WIAA sectional final 79-48 on Saturday afternoon at Watertown high school. They will open the WIAA state tournament playing 23-1 LaCrosse Central on Friday at 3:30pm at the Kohl Center in Madison.
