The Lakeland Stars 13U baseball team took to the road one final time in 2019. They came home from Battle Creek, Michigan as tournament champions, and ended their season on a 12-2-1 run.
Liam Lubkeman (#41) gets ready to fire a pitch for the 13U Lakeland Stars. He finished the season with 27 strikeouts in 24.1 innings pitched.
Jason Patterson (#17) finished his season with a .330 batting average. Patterson was also an 85-lb wrestling state qualifier for the Panthers Wrestling Club.
Lucas Sandrik (#44) hit .333, and led the 13U Stars in RBIs, while winning the championship in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Parker Bronson (#24) was dominant at the Battle Creek tournament. He had 5 hits and 4 walks in 11 plate appearances. He also struck out 11 batters in just 8 innings pitched, while giving up only two earned runs.
Lakeland shortstop, Kolton Lequesne (#22), is fired up after a big defensive play to end the inning. Lequesne batted .492 on the season and scored a whopping 61 runs in 120 at-bats.
Silver Lake’s Jack Horvath (#30) slides in to home plate for a key run scored. Horvath was the team leader with a 3.72 ERA over 41.1 innings pitched.
Carson Sieler (#13) steals 2nd base here. He batted .362 on the season, and struck out 64 opponents in 54.2 innings pitched.
Lucas Sandrik (#44) fires this pitch vs. the Wind Lake Screaming Eagles. He struck out 25 batters in 31.2 innings pitched this season.

Lakeland’s Carson Sieler (#13) gets ready to steal 2nd base here. He was safe. Sieler batted .362 on the season.
Trevor’s Jason Patterson (#17) rounds 3rd base and scores a key run. He is the younger brother of former Wilmot softball standout Kerrigan Patterson .
