The WIAA Division-2 Regional Final is set. The Central Falcons basketball team beat Waterford 66-30, while the Wilmot Panthers took down Jefferson 63-56.
Both teams will play at Central tonight, at 7pm.
Every county sports fan, who is able to get out of their existing plans, should be at this electric event. This is an unbelievable value, for only 5 bucks. Wilmot is 18-5. Central is 22-1. The last time the two teams played each other, the score was 35-30 at halftime. Going by the state rankings, Central would be the favorite. However, I doubt Wilmot is going to come into Central’s gym, for a playoff game, and give 90% effort. This game is going to be a doozy. One off-night of shooting can end either team’s season. This is a single single-elimination game. – “Great moments are born from great opportunity.”
