Indian Trail Beats Burlington 7-3

Indian Trail softball coach, Matt Bradley, rolled out a freshman in Emma Lighthizer to go toe-to-toe with Burlington all-state pitcher Morgan Klein.

And that she did.

After falling behind 2-0, Indian Trail scored five runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning to take a 5-2 lead.

Then Bradley brought in sophomore Maddy Bozek in the 4th inning, and she held Burlington in check for a 7-3 victory on Tuesday night.

Freshman right fielder, Morgan Calhoun, was 2-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored.
