Jason LeQuesne Local Disc Golf Champ

Salem’s Jason LeQuesne led all local disc golfers at the 2020 Cold Turkey XV event at Fox River Park on Saturday.

The 2-day PDGA event drew 195 competitors. Johnsburg professional, Christopher Meyer, was the overall champion with a score of 100.

Jason LeQuesne shot a 115, and placed 3rd in the Pro Masters 40+ class. He has won 6 career events, and has also won over $3,000 in prize money.

Side-note = Fred Vroman, brother of Panther Club wrestling coach CJ Vroman, was just 3 shots away from his second PDGA tournament victory, and took 2nd place in the Pro Masters 40+. Fred has one career win, and over $4,000 in earnings.

Camp Lake’s Andy Jarvey looks for the best angle around this bush at Fox River Park. Jarvey took 12th place in the Recreational division with a score of 127.
Trevor’s Jamie Moats drains a warm-up putt before Sunday competition in the Cold Turkey XV PDGA event at Fox River Park. Moats took 3rd place in the Amateur Masters 40+ division. He has two PDGA tournament wins, and has been a member since 2014.
