Jordan Paulson on the Charge!
The 18-year old pup out of Trevor is just starting to get the feel for his #4 WingLESS Sprint car. And the veteran competition is now fully aware of the recent graduate of Wilmot High School. Jordan Paulson took 4th place in the WingLESS Sprint feature on Saturday night. His top-5 finish will launch him up the 2019 point standings. Fellow Trevor resident and first-responder, Chris Dodd (#01), finished 6th, and still leads in the most-recently posted points standings in WingLESS Sprints. Salem’s George Gaertner (#89) finished 12th. Bristol’s Chris Klemko (#70) looked to have one of the fastest cars in the feature. Qualifying issues started him towards the back of the 24-car pack, but he was knifing through that pack all 20 laps, and finished 13th. Natalie Klemko (#20) finished 15th……. In Street Stocks, Salem’s James Jaime (#8) got fully bulldozed in turn one of lap one, and had to re-start at the back of the pack, because track officials determined that it was Jaime’s fault that car #51 accelerated into the pack of decelerating cars, and spun him out with a full-throttle “tuck-maneuver”, that is on page 1 of the textbook, at the police academy. Jaime finished in 12th place…. Former track champion, John Dost (#30), of Bristol battled a highly competitive field of modifieds and had another top-10 finish, taking 7th place. Dost is currently in 6th place in the 2019 Modified season points.
