Trevor’s Dodd Leader in Wingless

Trevor resident, Chris Dodd (#01), leads a crew of county dirt-track racers having big success at Wilmot Raceway in 2019. Sponsored by Bumper To Bumper Auto in Paddock Lake, the Zion firefighter has moved into 1st place in the WingLESS division at the 1/3-mile clay oval. Dodd placed 2nd on Saturday, with Bristol’s Chris Klemko (#70) in 9th, and Natalie Klemko (#20) taking 10th. Natalie’s top-10 finish moved her up to 6th place in the WingLESS class points.

Trevor 18 year-old, Jordan Paulson (#4), is the local youngster to keep an eye on in the Wingless class. The local kid won 1st place in the WingLESS B-Main on Saturday night, then on Sunday he received his high school diploma at Wilmot High School.

In the Modified division, former track champion, John Dost (#30), of Bristol, raced hard for a 9th place in the 20-lap feature. He is currently in 6th place in the 2019 Modified class points. In Street Stocks, Salem’s James Jaime (#J8) took 7th place, while Trevor’s Trent Anderson (#74T) was running strong in his feature until his motor overheated, and he had to settle with a DNF. Jaime currently sits in 8th place in the 2019 Street Stock points.
