The Wilmot softball team beat Oregon 3-1, in a thrilling come-from-behind victory at home on Tuesday. The Panthers now advance to the Sectional Final to play Beloit Memorial at Badger HS on Thursday.
Wilmot starting pitcher, Madi Zerr, was in command during another complete game 3-hitter. The senior struck out 8, and allowed only one earned run in the 1st inning. She also crushed a 2-RBI double in the 5th inning to give the Panthers a 2-1 lead that they would never give up.
