Both coaches know the Southern Lakes is a rugged wrestling conference, loaded with state ranked kids. “It is a tough measuring stick”, said Central head coach Jason Ladd. “I thought we wrestled hard. “I am happy with Bryce (Sekey-170) coming back to win, after he lost to that kid before.”
Wilmot coach John Watson said, “I am not happy with how we wrestled.” He looks forward to getting back to work before hosting the regional this Saturday morning, at Wilmot HS. He jokingly acknowledged that he won’t have to worry about them coming into practice over-confident this week.
Nice job all wrestlers. Good luck at regionals.
